A semitruck loaded with water veered off the road and rolled about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The accident occurred at the junction of Highways 212 and 1804, about 12 miles west of Gettysburg, said Potter County Sheriff Curt Hamburger.
The driver, Richard Lone Elk, 27, of Pine Ridge was taken by ambulance to the Gettysburg hospital, where he was treated and released.
He was cited for driving with a suspended driver's license, Hamburger said.
The semi was a 1978 Peterbilt owned by Heavy Constructors of Rapid City, he said.
